I grew up in rural Utah, and decided on psychology as a profession when I was 15 years old. I met my future husband John during my first week of college in Logan—I completed an MS in psychology at Utah State and a PhD in clinical psychology at BYU while he was getting through his MA and PhD and we were raising our five children. It took a long time to get here.
We’ve lived in rural central and southern Utah, Houston Texas, Oahu Hawaii, London England, and home again to the Wasatch Front, where I have a private psychotherapy practice in Orem. My interests are typical for my age bracket—photography, travel, gardening, and writing. We have four grandchildren who are the delight of our lives.
